Established in 2007, Building Excellence, LLC is a full-service general contractor serving Southern Arizona. With a long history as a solid industry leader in Tucson, BE offers a combined construction portfolio of over 75 years in the construction industry.

EVIE METCALF - Project Manager Evie manages the majority of our company's projects and all project administration requirements. She works closely with clients and the architectural team, as well as with Jamie and our team, to ensure all project administration is managed properly and dealt with in a timely manner.

TAYLOR COAKLEY - Office Administrator Taylor manages our front office administration and human resources. She has been part of the Building Excellence team for 5 years. Taylor assists Tara with accounting including payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. She assists the project managers with small job administration and our SaddleBrooke division. She also assists Jamie with advertising and marketing.

MATT WILLETT - Field Superintendent/Project Manager Matt has 15 years' experience in the residential construction arena, with a discipline in finish carpentry and a vast knowledge of every trade. Matt joined our team in January of 2015. Matt manages and oversees all of the SaddleBrooke residential remodel division.

DAVE VAN WINKLE - Superintendent

Dave brings over 30 years experience as a superintendent in Southern Arizona with experience in multi-family, education, government, medical, historical renovations and religious institutions. Dave has built University of Arizona projects, numerous churches and schools, and U.S. Army Corp of Engineers projects.


FIELD TEAM - Building Excellence has staff of six (3) field personnel who are skilled in various trade disciplines. Building Excellence will self perform trades on a project as we determine applicable to the project.
